This is a new initiative for CIFF 2019.

The objective is for the young filmmaker to tell us as much as they can about the Canadian Bible Society in a creative, educational and fun way - in 60seconds or less.

Here are the guidelines:

• CBS PSA 1min or less. This will be a contest for the youth and young adults aged 25 and under.  The CBS Bible MUST appear somewhere in the PSA at least once.
• Content can consist of a message or statement that is close to your heart.  Has the bible ever been introduced to you?  What was the impact like?  Did you receive or reject its message?  Did it come between you and a family  member, or bring you closer together? We want to know.
• The winner's video will be shown during the Awards show presentation which is syndicated on YouTube in 15 countries, on social media through CBS, and on CIFF throughout 2019-20
• There is no pre-requisite on format or delivery of the PSA. i.e..: shot on a cell phone, DSLR camera, etc or editing program. 
• A Free Waiver Code will be provided through CIFF when submitting the project on the FilmFreeway platform. 
• There will be 3 finalists and 1 winner.
• CIFF will provide mentorship to the finalists on an ongoing basis during 2019-20 by email correspondence.
• Deadline for submissions is September 1st.

Our vision is to promote and sponsor a scholarship fund so that the winner can pursue their dream of film studies.
